  • "Mia's place was perfect for our family of 10. There were so many different places in the house, barn, and yard for all of us to enjoy. We joked that every day we discovered something new about this charming farmhouse. Mia is a wonderful host and very quick to respond and help in any way. Our week was so relaxing and we look forward to a return."

  • "The farmhouse was exactly what my family and friends were looking for in a Maine midcoast retreat. Mia was an extremely accommodating host and the house lived up to its description and expectations. A true old farmhouse with the right updates (kitchen, bathrooms, and social spaces) Would definitely rent again when returning to the midcoast. The location is secluded but near enough to surrounding towns and harbors."

  • "Beautiful house for a big family gathering. Mia was an amazing host--sending local recs, keeping in touch with helpful info, and making us feel right at home! The house was well-appointed and comfortably accommodated our large group. Great kitchen for cooking, beautiful yard, so many toys and games for kids, and just a short walk to the water. Thank you for a great stay!! Can't recommend enough and hope to be back!"

    — Anna

  • "For a very old farmhouse, it met the description on point with lots of quirks and charm. Would recommend heeding warning about the stairs if you have folks with physical challenges, or kids/pets for whom steep stairs might worry you. The beds were comfy and the great room was such a great place to hang together- wonderful kids toys, books, and a guitar (perfectly tuned!) and electric piano! The two kitchen thing was a little strange/inconvenient at times, but after a few days we all got used to where everything was located. Mia was a fabulous and responsive host and it made the stay super easy. Thankful for a peaceful Midcoast stay!"

  • "We were completely blown away by our stay at the 3 Sisters Farm — this little gem of a property has everything a family or two (or any large group) could want or need to enjoy a relaxing escape removed from the noise and pressured rigors of modern life (while still being able to enjoy every comfort and convenience of home)! More than the house itself - the area, people in town, the property caretaker and the hosts themselves epitomize the name of this town “Friendship” - we never have had such a delightfully easy and downright friendly relationship with Airbnb hosts before and the people in town are terrific. When the hosts or property caretaker (Joy) say you can contact them for anything - they MEAN it!"

    — Tara

  • "Absolutely loved staying at Three Sisters Farm. We had a small family wedding here and it was the perfect place to get married. So grateful for the time we spent here and for Mia’s wonderful responsiveness! She even let us check in a little early so we could get everything set up for the ceremony. A magical and beautiful place to stay!"

    — Emily

  • "My family and I stayed at the 3 Sisters farm for 3 nights. We easily and comfortably fit 8 people (6 adults, 2 kids, plus dog and cat) and it never felt crowded. Easily one of the best Airbnb's I've been in. Very spacious, both kitchens were completely stocked for anything you'd need, lots of board games in the house, lots of activities out of the house (bikes, kayaks etc.). Mia was very accommodating, communicative and the house was a perfect example of a great home in Maine."

    — Brian

  • "House is bright, clean and well decorated. Full of amenities! Two kitchens stocked with cookware, four very comfortable bedrooms, dining room with a table big enough for all of us. Enjoyed most of the weekend on the screened-in porch and in the back yard around the fire pit, but there was plenty of space throughout the house to spread out and relax."

    — Hadley

  • "We had a great time staying at Mia’s farmhouse. Mia is one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts I’ve met. She was very responsive to questions before our stay, provided great local recommendations, and even hooked us up with a lobster delivery 😀 The house and barn were great - very comfortable with lots of character, things to do, and a beautiful location. We definitely recommend!"

    — Elizabeth

  • "We use Airbnb quite a bit and I’ve gotta tell you, Mia has been hands down the best host! So communicative, really helpful and kind! Mia let us stay an additional day after a last minute decision on our part to get in some more time at this lovely home and area. Our stay was during the frigid blast of air and Mia went above and beyond to have a maintenance person swing by to check on us. 11 out of 10 would recommend!"

    — Jeff

  • "This home is absolutely a dream. It was cozy, inviting, and we kept remarking that every detail, every appliance, was perfectly selected. We had a big group and everyone felt comfortable. We had such fun using the sleds and cooking in the kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful place for the weekend."

    — Leslie

  • "The farmhouse was an absolute delight! We were so happy to have landed there and enjoyed a wintry weekend. There was plenty of space and lots of common areas to have a group. We had 3 couples and it was perfect. We hope to come back. We fell in love with the area as well."

    — Daisy

  • "Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay up in Maine for my sister’s 30th birthday with close friends. Easily accommodated a group of us and allowed us to all sleep in our own designated rooms for privacy. The finished barn was the best spot for games and good conversation. And the kitchen is well supplied with anything you might need for a perfect get away in Maine. Would love to see this place in the summer time. Thanks Mia!"

    — Taylor

  • "We had a great stay and net some great people onlong the way. We lost power due to a winter storm in the area, and Mia sent someone right over to start up the generator. she and her caretaker Will were so friendly and quick to respond."

    — Lorranne

  • "Beautiful, cozy and quiet home! Our family spent a wonderful thanksgiving at the farm. We found everything we needed to create a thanksgiving feast and we were so happy to have two large stocked kitchens for cooking and prep. The original details and curated antiques added to the thanksgiving feel! The farm is very close to nearby towns of Camden and Rockland, which make for excellent day trips. We also enjoyed walking to the water from the home, a quick and easy stroll. We travelled with two small children and we were so impressed with the collection of toys and activities for them. The crib was a plus too!"

    — Kelsey

  • "The Three Sisters Farm was a perfect place to host my friends and family for a Maine Friendsgiving. The house was warm and inviting for our arrival and had absolutely everything we needed to cook some amazing meals and make even better memories. We loved bundling up to hang out in the barn and gathering around the fireplace and playing games. All the bedrooms were outfitted with extra heaters which we only needed the first night. We noticed the water pressure was lacking and Mia had someone out to repair it within the hour. I highly recommend staying at Mia's place."

    — Nicole

  • "We were a family of 4 couples, and three kids ages 7, 18 mos and 6 weeks coming together for our daughters "destination" wedding near the end of October. We could not have found a more perfect place for all of us. A few extra ppl came along at the end and still (with air mattresses of their own) we had more than enough space. The house is a beautiful old farmhouse with a barn (attached!) which is a great space for kids of all ages to play -from ping pong to riding a trike (there are 2 there!) around it. There's a double jogging stroller, backpack for hiking w/ a small child, kayaks, lifejackets - you name it this place has it! No kidding. A week before our stay, our host Mia sent an email with the most thorough low down on the house & area. She's seriously thought of everything. If we had any questions at all she responded within minutes. I can not say enough things about this place, or Mia."

    — Kim

  • "We chose the perfect spot for a ladies getaway. We had a couple of damp days but the farmhouse was warm, cozy, quiet and charming. It offers so much space inside and out. We enjoyed a beautiful walk to the water. We cooked and baked and found everything we needed to do that. This property is a treasure!"

    — Cyndy

  • "If you ever find yourself craving a quiet retreat between Camden and Portland in Maine then @threesistersfarmmaine is an excellent spot. This gorgeous old farmhouse is essentially untouched with loads of original character. Yet, Mia, the owner, has carefully considered any convenience you could find yourself needing, even down to providing coffee, kayaks and local blueberry jam 💙 She’s also the kindest soul and most communicative host!"

    — Caty

  • "The farmhouse was a beautiful retreat for enjoying fall weather in beautiful Maine. Staying at the farmhouse felt like living in a work of art, with all of the antiques and rustic charm found throughout the house and landscape. One of my favorite places in the house was the screened in porch. I loved sitting out there to have my morning coffee and bird watch. The location was absolutely spectacular, felt safe, and walking down to the water was a relaxing adventure. Beds and sheets were super comfortable and I wish I could have taken the pillow home with me. Mia made sure our accommodations were taken well care of though. She provided us with bottles water and clean towels a special bonus surprise. Communication was excellent and there were no problems or confusion with the check in or check out process. I would certainly recommend this Airbnb to anybody seeking a peaceful and comfortable retreat."

    — Brittany

  • "Our group consisting of two separate families (both ironically with 3 sisters each!) had an incredible week at the farm. The bedroom layout actually worked quite well for us and there’s a bunch of living area to spread out. Our kids loved the barn and especially the upper loft area for playtime. We also really enjoyed the location and the ability to wheel a kayak down to the beach and ride bikes into town. A perfect blend of remoteness but a lot to do in the surrounding area. We also met Will, one of Mia’s local caretakers who was an absolute gem. Having a local lobster hookup for cheap dinners at home is what Rural Maine is all about! Hope we can come back soon."

    — Nathan

  • "Mia's home is stunning! Our group had a blast just exploring the farm. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy. We have a couple of great cooks in our group and they were blown away with the kitchen appliances and how fully stocked the kitchen was. They truly had everything you could think of needing, and more. The beds were comfy and the linens were clean and soft- we all slept great. Mia was very communicative and sure to take care of our every need. We hope to be back soon!"

    — Grace

  • "A gem of a home in such a special corner of Maine. We stayed with friends and the layout of the home was just right to give both parents an en-suite bathroom with dreamy soft beds while having a sleeping situation that allowed the kids to be close by. The home feels a bit like stepping in time, and has been so well preserved and maintained. Incredible charm. So clean. And the barn is a special place! Mia was a fantastic host, can't thank her enough for her hospitality."

    — Johnny

  • "I hesitate to write a good review in case the secret gets out! Where to start .. the remote location was perfect for our family to walk down to the mudflats at low tide, and only 25 minutes to Camden. The farmhouse itself had everything you need plus what you didnt even know you needed! The kids LOVED the barn and the backyard. It was perfect all around, I wouldn't change a thing! OH and the host is an absolute dream to work with! 5 stars!"

    — Ongeleigh

  • "My family stayed at the farmhouse and enjoyed our time there. Mia was very communicative and kind and accommodating to our needs. The house is beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed. This area in Maine is breathtaking, highly recommend for those that love wilderness and the ocean. Thank you Mia!"

    — Danielle

  • "Wonderful house and host! The house is incredibly comfortable and inviting, secluded but in close proximity to Rockland, Rockport and Camden. We traveled with a toddler who loved exploring all of the rooms, climbing the staircases, and running around the backyard. There is a crib, changing pad, books, toys, and a baby gate--all really nice features for people traveling with young ones. The kitchen was well-stocked for all manners of cooking. Mia was very warm and helpful throughout our stay. An added perk were the really soft linens and towels and really nice soaps/shampoos/conditioners in every bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!"

    — Eli

  • "This home is simply charming on every level! It's quiet, private, and tucked away - but close enough to feel like you can run errands and go to dinner, shop or whatever you want to do. Mia was just the BEST to work with on organizing my trip and her communication style and responsiveness was top notch/FAST! I can't imagine a better host! We had the house manager, Joy, organize an authentic lobster dinner for my whole crew - party of 12 - and it could not have been more fun! She helped us on so many levels - it's like a built in concierge service on top of a beautiful home. STAY HERE if you can!"

    — Melanie

  • "This is a lovely home and a cozy place to stay during our family winter getaway. Very clean and spacious. This is a rural area but a quick drive to Rockland and Camden where we spent most of our time. (25-30 min drive). I would recommend Mia’s home and would visit again we are visiting the area."

    — Catherine

  • "This was the perfect weekend getaway for us. We were at a conference in Boston and the quiet 3 hour drive gave us just enough time to decompress before arriving. This place is wonderful. The rooms are beautifully yet comfortably furnished. The beds are all comfortable and nicely turned out with luxury linens and the bathrooms stocked with yummy soaps and shampoos. The two kitchens are fully stocked with everything a cook could ask for … we couldn’t believe it! We were only there for a weekend and definitely want to go back. It was such a perfect spot to relax and unwind but we didn’t have time to enjoy all the nearby attractions. Definitely looking forward to having a chance to make our way back to this terrific property!"

  • "Three Sisters Farm is a rare gem of a find! Whether looking for inspiration, wish-listing, or getting the chance to snag a stay— Mia's place is what romantic, idyllic, pastoral dreams are made of. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet, cozy, close-to-nature escape. Breathtaking in winter, but we're already looking forward to returning to experience in other seasons! The farmhouse is a perfect blend of rustic, historic charm and modern conveniences, which are nothing short of luxury. Every room is well-appointed and unique. You may find yourself spending the first couple of hours after arrival simply exploring, delighting in what you find, and dreamily sighing at the beauty of it all. The abundant amenities are even more to rave about. Two full kitchens (each with their own unique charm) with just about all of the cookware and baking-ware you can imagine, beautifully eclectic dinnerware including some handmade items (talk about a personal, artisanal touch!), a wonderfully cozy fireplace in the living room (plus plenty of books and games), and SO MANY comfortable, inviting spaces to relax, socialize, or just settle in. My two favorites were the clawfoot bathtub and outdoor solo stove fire pit. The bath amenities were so good that I snapped a pic of the brand for future reference! As a host, Mia is everything you could want and more—communicative, responsive, warm, helpful, and kind. Her thorough and lovingly created welcome book/guide not only functions as a helpful resource, but sets the bar for hosting. We loved exploring her recommendations (tip: Wallace's is a must!), which helped us feel even more settled and comfortable. The location itself is just as wonderful. Everyone we met in the nearby town was friendly, warm, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. If you like exploring and really want a local experience, check out the antiques store down the road—full of treasures, including its owner Dave, who loves company and storytelling. :) The short walk to the estuary (also in Mia's guide book!) is another must. Beautiful and stunning even in winter!"
